A lot has been happening since the most recent post. We are in the final stages of the Print-on-Demand version of Spring Fevers, and in the next few days I expect the official creation of Elephant's Bookshelf Press, LLC, a small publishing firm. I am president and Chief Elephant Officer. For the initial anthology, I produced it as a small company, but this is also something I intend to do for a while now, so I decided it was best to be smart about it.
It won't change anything in the way the next anthology will be done. We have an excellent team in place to review and decide upon stories for inclusion, and the POD version of Spring Fevers even includes a short description of The Fall, which is scheduled for an October launch.
Things are hopping here, as much as an elephant can hop at least. (And no, this is not an April Fool's Joke.)

Congratulations, Matt! And I love the name of your publishing company. As another elephant lover I only wish I had thought of the name first. :) I'm joking, of course. But I wish you much success!

I can't wait for the print version of Spring Fevers. It looks nice on Kindle (stole a look at my sister's e-reader) but print is my favorite.
Thanks, TK. I was fortunate it wasn't taken. Actually, part of the process is that a search must be conducted to ensure that the name is available, so I may be premature in my announcement. But I have an elephant-related backup if need be.
Yvonne, I think you'll be very pleased. And be on the look out for an invite for the fall. Hopefully this week I'll be sending them out.
Cool! That's awesome. Go Matt! The way you get stuff done inspires me. :)
You're too kind, Jean. It means even more work to justify the expense, but in a sense it's motivating me to really sink my tusks into this venture.
